This is my first painting on a wood panel, it’s a lovely smooth surface to work on, allowing for greater detail in the sky. The panel feels special to hold, I can’t see how that affects it’s look but it strangely does affect how I feel about it. The panel does not need to be framed as I’ve painted the side walls.
